Furniture and Objects for Everyday Use
Some of my favorite projects are the pieces that become part of daily life. Furniture, lighting, fireplace equipment, and household objects all present opportunities to combine utility with craftsmanship in a way that few other things can.
The work shown here ranges from historically inspired furnishings to original designs that incorporate forged iron, brass, and wood. In many cases, these pieces begin with traditional forms but are adapted to suit modern homes and practical needs.
Whether a piece is intended for everyday use or as a focal point within a room, I approach it with the same attention to detail that I bring to architectural work. The goal is never simply decoration, but rather the creation of useful objects that happen to be beautiful as well.
