Architectural Ironwork
Forged Work for Buildings, Landscapes, and Interiors
Blacksmithing has been at the center of my work for most of my professional life. The projects shown here represent a range of architectural commissions, from simple hardware and fireplace equipment to gates, railings, signage, and custom furnishings.
Much of this work is inspired by historical examples, particularly those of the seventeenth, eighteenth, and early nineteenth centuries. While I enjoy reproducing period work when appropriate, I am just as interested in developing original designs that feel at home alongside traditional architecture.
Every project begins with an understanding of where the piece will live and how it will be used. Whether I am creating a historically accurate reproduction or something entirely new, my goal is to produce work that feels appropriate to its setting and will continue to serve its purpose for generations.
